Within "Mountain Medicine" there is a large network of high quality instructors. The trainer/instructors have extensive experience in pre-hospital emergency care and can each provide training in the latest equipment, such as Automatic External Defibrillators (AED's) along with the training of related personnel.

The network also has many contacts in the medical profession and within pre-hospital care departments. Nine Ashes is Cornwall County Scouts Training, Activity Centre and Camping site. We offer a full range of Outdoor First Aid/Emergency Care courses open to all, along with other courses specifically for Scout Association members. The site consists of 25 acres of woodland, and 5 acres of camping with a decicated training building.
